Ralph Howell

Sir Ralph Frederic Howell (born 25 May 1923) is a British Conservative politician.
Howell was educated at Diss Grammar School, Norfolk and became a farmer, chairing the local National Farmers Union branch. He was a Rural District Councillor from 1961.
Howell became an MP by gaining North Norfolk from Labour in 1970, having first contested the seat in 1966. He served until his retirement in 1997.
