Rally 'Round the Flag, Boys! was a 1958 film starring Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, directed by Leo McCarey and released by Twentieth Century-Fox.
[edit] Plot
Commuter Bannerman (Paul Newman) is going insane promptly because of his wife Grace (Joanne Woodward) insists on attending every civic committee. When the government selects Putnam's Landing for their missile base, Grace joins a committee to stop it.
Harry is signed to be a liaison man and stopping it causes to be no end trouble for Harry. Added to the dilemma is Angela Hoffa (Joan Collins) whose efforts to getting Harry for herself lead to dizzying recriminations and misunderstandings.
Although the film was considered fairly racy in 1958, today it feels slightly dated and slow.
