Rakovník (IPA: [ˈrakovɲi:k]) is a town in the west part of Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic . It has approximately 17 thousand inhabitants. The town is very well known for its beer called "Bakalář". This beer has been brewed since 1454 and is one of the oldest breweries in the Czech Republic.
