I've been meaning to work on this article for a long time, and finally got a round tuit. I still have to do the filmography. Anyone else up for it?

Hi, guys, just keep in mind the style guide. I had to really clean up this article when the clean-up tag came. I hope I don't have to do clean up again --IMpbt 14:27, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Rajkapoor-seh-mandri sey samundri tak--Book
Prithviraj Kapoor was without a doubt the most handsome Indian actor of Pre-Independence India and the founder of India's first film family - the Kapoors.
He was born in Prithvinath Kapoor in a middle-class landlord family in Samundri, a district of the industrial township of Lyallpur, Punjab, the son of a police officer. He got most of his early grounding from his grand father, Dewan Keshavmal. After finishing schooling at Lyallpur and Lahore, he enrolled at Edward College, Peshawar where he developed a taste for the theatre and earned a major reputation on the amateur stage in Lyallpur and Peshawar. He was married at 18 and did a year of law after graduation but interrupted his law studies to pursue his dreams of acting. Taking a loan from his aunt, he left Peshawar for Bombay in the winter of 1928, leaving behind his wife and three children saying he would send for them later.(upperstall.com)
[edit] Some uncalled for statements in the article
I wish to point out some phrases, such as "sexy" and its likes sully the image of the great director. I think erotic is a much better term for his cinema in later years. And there were only a few scenes that depicted semi-nudity. It will be most shameful to call the scene depicting Mandakini breast-feeding her child as sexy. It is a very thoughtful and artistic presentation. So I hope you don't have any problems if I rephrase some lines in the articles which are demeaning.
