Raju Narayana Swamy

Raju Narayana Swamy is a controversial IAS officer from Kerala, India. He became famous when he achieved the first rank in the Civil Services Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission in 1989. He is now working as the District Collector of Kottayam. He is also a prolific writer and has authored twenty books on various subjects,his latest work being Edapalliyum Vanghoghum [1].[2]He received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 2004 for his work Santhimanthram Muzhagunna Thazvarayil .[3]

His official career was marred with a lot of political controversies .Posted in his home state ,he could not get along very well with his bosses.On personal front he divorced his first wife.He has remarried recently.[4]
