Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science is unitary univesity set up by Government of Karnataka for regulating and promotion of health science. The colleges conducting courses related to medicine,pharmacy and nursing were affilated to different universities in state.To bring uniform standard in academics and administration ,Rajiv Gandhi University of Health was set up.
