Raj Chouhan

Raj R. S. Chouhan is the current MLA for Burnaby-Edmonds in the Canadian province of British Columbia. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly in the 2005 election. He was one of the founders of the Canadian Farmworkers Union, the first migrant worker union in Canada. It sought the protection of mostly Punjabi immigrants from exploitative labour contractors in the agricultural industry in British Columbia.
He is a member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party.
