Railroad plough

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Railroad plough is a railroad car which supports a big plough. It is used for destruction of railroad in warfare by breaking all of its ties with the plough, so that it becomes unusable for the enemy (probably in addition to destroying its bridges and tunnels). A railroad destroyed in this way is very difficult to repair.
