Ferromex is located in the capital of Mexico, Mexico City (D.F., Federal District). Previously was known as "Ferrocarriles Mexicanos", and it used to provide services that included first class "Pullman" Sleepers until approximately the beginning of the 1980's.
In the northern part of Mexico there is famous line which crosses the Copper Canyon.
In the State of Jalisco there is a short and touristic line which goes to Tequila and back to Guadalajara.
