The French railway network, as adminstered by Réseau Ferré de France (RFF), disposes of a network of commercially usable lines of 29,203 km, out of which 14,778 km is electrified. 1,550 km of those are high speed lines (LGV), 16,104 km dispose of two or more tracks. 5,885 km are supplied with 1,500 V DC, 8,771 km with 25 kV AC at 50 Hz. 122 km are electrified by third rail or other means.
