[edit] factual errors

See the following link for the DATES. Martial law was declared July 5, 1977. Lt Gen Rahimuddin was Martial Law Administrator (MLA). Justice Marri was sworn in as acting Governor. When CMLA Gen Zia ul Haq became President (when Ch Fazal Elahi's term ended), the civilian Chief Justices who were serving as acting Governors were replaced by the MLA's.

After Lt Gen Rahimuddin was promoted to full General, Lt Gen Sardar F S Lodhi HI (M) SBt was sworn in as MLA Balochistan & ML Governor. When he was injured in the accident/crash of an Army Aviation aircraft, the Corps Commander (Quetta) XII Corps Lt Gen Khushdil Khan Afridi was appointed MLA & acting Governor. Later when Lt Gen Lodhi retired, Lt Gen Afridi became Governor. He was the last military governor of Balochistan in that Martial law era. His term ended on 31 December 1985.

[edit] Failed Good Article nomination

This article fails to meet the Good Article standards for the following reasons:

  1. Complete lack of inline citations; a References section alone is not sufficient
  2. The lead section is probably too long, and definitely goes into too much detail. See WP:LEAD for guidelines.

This is a good start, however. If someone puts more work into resolving these issues, they should nominate the article again
