[edit] Rage is anynthing but power metal

Rage is anynthing but power metal. Power metal is bands like Rhapsody of Fire, Stratovarius, Nightwish: fast, melodical, with high-pitched clean vocals, often symphonical and fantasy-themed. Music of Rage is kind of classical Heavy metal subgenre with some Speed metal influences, and sounds similar to bands like Judas Priest. Beaumain 06:03, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Actually, power metal is cited as the genre of the band in many websites. See BNR metal pages, metal archives, Allmusic, [1], [2], [3], etc. Besides, a google search for "Rage band "power metal" -"against the machine"" gives 124,000 results[4], which is clearly significant.
If you want to add classic metal as a genre, I won't oppose it, but you can't remove power metal, there are too many valid sources for that. The band even figures in the list of power metal bands. IronChris | (talk) 17:29, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
