Ragan is a village in Harlan County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 46 at the 2000 census.

Ragan is located at 40°18′36″N, 99°17′22″W (40.310093, -99.289516)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 46 people, 19 households, and 12 families residing in the village. The population density was 71.0/km² (182.5/mi²). There were 26 housing units at an average density of 40.2/km² (103.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.17% of the population.

There were 19 households out of which 15.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.4% were married couples living together, 10.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.6% were non-families. 21.1% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.42 and the average family size was 2.77.

In the village the population was spread out with 21.7% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 28.3% from 25 to 44, 30.4% from 45 to 64, and 13.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 109.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.0 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $32,083, and the median income for a family was $40,000. Males had a median income of $30,000 versus $19,167 for females. The per capita income for the village was $17,758. None of the population and none of the families were below the poverty line.
