[edit] Redirect?
Hmmm. Am I wrong in assuming that 95% of the people who type in "RAF" are looking for the Royal Air Force? Shouldn't we go on the principle of least surprise and have a link to the disambiguation page from Royal Air Force? What say ye? StarryEyes 22:50, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
I support the above suggestion. 80.47.242.211 00:46, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- I too support the above suggestion. I have implemented the changes:
- RAF redirects to Royal Air Force
- Royal Air Force has a redirect notice at the top, "RAF redirects here. For other uses, see RAF (disambiguation)"
- RAF (disambiguation) now contains the other uses formerly listed at RAF.

This page once again redirects to Royal Air Force. The last version which only disambiguated between the Royal Air Force and the Red Army Faction did not take account of the discussion here and missed most of the detail on the RAF (disambiguation) page. 85.18.216.40 21:01, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
- You are of course right, I was wrong. I somehow failed to check the talk page, sorry for that. Maikel 16:42, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Pff i suggest to make it a disambig again, maybe in the UK 95% of the people think of the airforce when they hear RAF but in mainland europe people tend to think of the rote armee fraktion and since this is not so much a encyclopedia for the english but rather an encyclopedia for everyone in english i think a disambig is the way to go.--62.251.90.73 19:30, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
