Talk:Rado (watch)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I altered this slightly to emphasise that Rado is located in Lengnau, not the Swatch Group. Feel free to wikify if you think it sounds wrong. Zckls04 06:01, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Editing
I've made several edits to this page today based on findings on the internet. If anyone is interested in the way I have constructed the pricing section, I have done so by consulting the prices I found for authorised dealers only. This is because the internet is flooded with unauthorised dealers and both the maker themselves, plus other experts insist that it is impossible to tell whether these are real or imitations and the only way to know you are dealing with a genuine watch is if you are dealing with an authorised retailer. I checked the prices for a few UK and US companies and the lowest price I found was £595 (which is currently over a $1,000 but usually just under $900). To be safe I have put in a minimum of $800 and noted that it is, of course possible for the watches to be cheaper but that is a fair general guide. The most expensive popular type I saw (I focused more on the minimum as there is no bound on the upper prices once you get to the ones that are practically made of diamonds) was £4,000 (currently about $8,000 but usually closer to $7,000). I welcome debate on these pricings.--Zoso Jade 08:23, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
