Talk:Radio Raheem

I certainly don't recall anything to back up the claim that he is developmentally disabled. And as for being mute, well...he speaks several times in the film. So, due to this, I'm removing the claim that he is both of these. Eric Sieck 06:35, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- I did a massive overhaul of the article... I hope it's to everybody's liking. I think the "Cultural Relevance" section should be removed, as it cites no sources (plus, I can't really think of any "ingraining" of Radio Raheem into hip-hop culture, aside from a minor cult status. - Ecksem Diem 07:01, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- He obviously suffered from at least some mental or emotional handicap, which explains the difficulty he found communicating with other people.
- Perhaps describing him as "mute" is incorrect, but he did have at least a minor disability that impaired his ability to verbally communicate with others.

Bro, I'm not sure we were watching the same movie... It doesn't seem at all apparent to me that he had any kind of handicap or disability. He was most definitely a total jackass though, which, it seems to me, can be mistaken for mental illness. Still and still, I think the Love/Hate scene is a pretty clear indication that all is well with him. - Ecksem Diem 15:27, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
