I think Radio Mirchi is the best Radio station in Ahmedabad, and this view is reflected by majority of the people residing where Radio Mirchi provides its services... It hosts contests and other kinds of events that make it even more interesting to listen to.

radio mirchi may be the best radio stations according to you.. but that is just your opinion. and people in ahmedabad don't have much of a choice when it comes to radio stations, do they? you cannot generalize the scenario by saying that your view is reflected by a majority of people. - Aksi great 14:42, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Radio Mirchi broadcasts in all major metros across India. However it is very competitive in the markets which have grown rapidly for example Mumbai and Bangalore. The generalization of the article can be marked out. I agree that Times Group own the brand however the article no where refers to Entertainment Network India Ltd which owns and manages the Radio broadcasting operations and owns the brand Radio Mirchi.

[edit] Removed details relating to programming

I've removed the content relating to the RJs and programs as (a) it only provides information for Ahmedabad and Mumbai, which is strongly against NPOV, and (b) the programming schedule of Radio Mirchi changes very frequently, and thus it is out of place in an encyclopaedia article. [edit] Not an in depth article

This article misses the impact Radio Mirchi made on the lives of people; virtually spearheading the FM broadcasting revolution in INDIA; sadly it also misses the point that broadcast started from Ahmedabad--Aileronajay 06:19, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
