[edit] Radagast in adaptations
I interpreted the associations as:
- Radagast commanded the moon moth, as Radagast's background with wild (particularly winged) creatures and association with Yavanna indicate he may have had such capabilities; and of course his close friendship with Gandolf might indicate that he would use a small (difficult to detect) creature to keep watch over his friend. Sure enough, such a small creature just happens to appear in Gandolf's time of need. I believe the moth was operating for Radagast rather than being Radagast himself, as one would think Saruman would be able to detect another wizard's presence.
- The Eagles, associated with Manwë, would have likely been independent actors whom agreed to assist after being notified by Radagast/moth.

[edit] Anglo-Saxon
The article says that "the name Radagast may actually be Anglo-Saxon". This doesn't make much sense to me; the statement in UT makes it clear that the name Radagast is ("actually") Adunaic. Considering this and the rather dubious nature of the speculation (rad = rudu is a bit of a stretch) I suggest that this paragraph be deleted. Aiwendil42
