The Radical Cause (La Causa Radical or La Causa Я) is a socialist political party in Venezuela. It was formed in 1971 by radicals who believed that the Communist Party of Venezuela and the MAS were too moderate.

Francisco Aryan Cardinal and other leaders of the Radical Cause supported Hugo Chávez's 1992 coup attempt. In the 1993 presidential elections, the party's candidate, Andrés Velásquez, came close to winning. After Chávez was elected Venezuelan president on December, 1998, the Radical Cause generally criticized the new president for being too moderate. This led to a split by pro-Chávez members who formed the Homeland for All party.

At the last legislative elections, 30 July 2000, the party won 4 out of 165 seats in the National Assembly of Venezuela.
