RadiOS

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

RadiOS, the Radiant Operating System, is a project to create a QNX Neutrino like operating system for the x86 architecture. It is written almost entirely in the assembly language and heavily utilizes NASM preprocessor facilities and RDOFF binary file format.

RadiOS consists of a microkernel, a task manager (equivalent of QNX's process manager, which implements processes, and memory and path management), some system libraries, and resource managers.

From http://sourceforge.net/projects/radios: As of 2006-09-24 09:09, this project is no longer under active development.
