Radhavallabha

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Radhavallabaha is a Vaishnava sect founded by Harivamsa Gosvami. There is also a very popular temple of Vrindavan which was founded by Harivamsa Gosvami. The Radhavallabha sect emphasizes devotion to Radharani. In the temple in Vrindavan, there is no deity of Radharani, but a crown has been placed next to Krishna to signify her presence. The original temple of Radhavallabha was destroyed in 1670 and a new temple was built beside the old one.
