[edit] Contradiction

"Records" paragraph says:

The shortest elapsed time ever was Michael Secrest's in 1987, when he finished in 7 days 23 hours.

but in the list of overall winners (paragraph below), Secrest's 1987 winning time is listed as 9 days 11 h 35 min. I suppose both cannot be true... Could someone check this? GregorB 15:08, July 17, 2005 (UTC)

This page has the answer http://www.raceacrossamerica.org/files/raaminformation/RAAMrecords.html. Michael Secrest's record time was in 1990 and was not a part of the RAAM. --Moyet 06:38, 22 July 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for looking it up... It seems that there's no contradiction after all, so I'm removing the notice and adding the records page to the external links. GregorB 21:00, July 24, 2005 (UTC)
