Rachel Treichler

Rachel Treichler, born 1951, has practiced law in New York since 1982 and lives in Hammondsport. In 2006, Treichler was the Green Party candidate for Attorney General of New York. She received 1.3% of the vote, losing the 2006 Attorney General election to Democrat Andrew Cuomo.
In 2002, Treichler ran for Congress as the Green Party candidate for the 29th congressional district. In the 2002 Congressional election, she received 2.3% of the vote, losing to Republican Amo Houghton.
