Rachel MacKenzie is a singer and songwriter based in Glasgow, Scotland. In 2005 she joined Scottish Indie legends BMX Bandits. Since joining BMX Bandits she has contributed several lead vocals and co-wrote with former BMX Bandit Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) a song, Our Secret Life, for the band's 2007 album release Bee Stings. My Chain was released in Europe on Rev-ola, a branch of noted UK indie Cherry Red. My Chain and Bee Stings are both released on P Vine Records in Japan, where Rachel Mackenzie toured with the group in 2006. The tour and release of the album My Chain was covered in popular Japanese music magazine Cookie Scene. Mackenzie also has a career in television production.
