Rabbit Flat, Northern Territory

Rabbit Flat is a location in the Northern Territory. The Rabbit Flat Roadhouse is claimed to be the most isolated roadhouse in Australia.[citation needed] It is located on the Tanami Track which runs from Alice Springs in the south to Halls Creek in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The Tanami Track is a dirt road used by road trains servicing the Granites Mine. The track is impassible during the wet season.
