R U the Girl

R U the girl is a TV series produced by UPN. The show is a reality TV singing talent search contest for a talented person to appear on the next single of the all-female R&B band of TLC whose former member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died in a car crash in Honduras in April 2002. The casting tour began on February 5, 2005 in Los Angeles, with tour stops in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, Atlanta, and Miami. The surviving members, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chili" Thomas have the responsibility of selecting the final contestants, who will be brought to stardom NOT join their band.
Throughout the duration of the program, the requirements of hopeful applicants to be the future TLC band member are: To be female, to be around the age range of 20-25 years old, considerably physically attractive, athletically fit,and have professional singing, rapping, and dancing skills. The reason is the third member will need to be identical to the profile of the other two female members of TLC.
The program is divided into seven episodes, with the eighth a finale in which the final contestant, O'so Krispie is chosen by a decision between Chili and T-Boz between two competitors, Mirrah and O'so Krispie and later perform a new single with the entire band of TLC , I Bet, to a live audience on national television.
