[edit] Appearance

The R Eins M is a mass-produced humanoid, ranged attack unit that bears some resemblance to the Real Personal Trooper Type-1, notably the head. It is equipped with a Tesla Drive, giving it flight and maneuverabilty, and typically armed with head-mounted vulcans, a Personal Trooper-use revolver, a railgun, and twin beam cannons on its shoulders. On at least one occasion, it has been seen using a powerful gravity-based rifle.

The R Eins M is piloted by both character pilots and Shadow Mirror grunt pilots.

[edit] Specifications

Height: Unknown

Weight: Unknown

Weapon Systems:

  • Vulcan
Rapid fire weapon used to deal with infantry, or to finish off a severely damaged target.
  • G-Revolver
A Personal Trooper firearm also available to Earth Federation Army forces. Unlike its base unit, the R-1, the R Eins M only carries 1. Usually used when its other weapons cannot be aimed properly due to the speed at which the unit is currently moving.
  • G-Railgun
A railgun used for long-range combat. While the damage pales in comparison to its other long-ranged weapons, the G-railgun suffers no penalty from firing at close quarters.
  • Twin Beam Cannon
A pair of cannons that fire high-powered beams, drawing energy directly from the unit's reactor. Like most weapons of this type, it performs poorly against underwater targets.
  • Gravity Launcher
A powerful weapon that damages the target using the power of gravity. As such, it is not fired at close quarters. It is devastating against most targets but it has a huge drawback: the large power drain on the unit firing it.

[edit] Notable Pilots

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Archibald Grims has been seen piloting this unit. His R Eins M was equipped with a Gravity Launcher, which he used against the R-2 Powered. Echidna Issaki, Ouka Nagisa and Ricarla Borgnine have also been seen piloting R Eins M units during their early encounters in Original Generation 2.

[edit] Other

Like most units created by the Shadow Mirror, the R Eins M has a self-destruct option called Code ATA, which stands for "Ashes To Ashes."
