[edit] PIG

Great job on all the Pig and KMFDM articles...but I can't for the life of me figure out why it's listed as P.I.G. Could you please explain this to me? I've never seen Watts's project listed as an acronym until now. Iluvchineselit 02:15, 24 May 2005 (UTC)

  • Hey. Just wanted to drop by and thank you for the work on KMFDM. I'm glad you've been on top of all the name changers and "translators". Keep up the good work! -->Chemical Halo 02:04, July 14, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion

I noticed you tagged Alexa Davis for speedy deletion because it was "non-encyclopedic". While you are most certainly right, due process must be carried out. It did not fulfill the criteria at WP:CSD, and so is not eligable for speedy deletion, having to go through WP:VFD instead. I have done this for this article, but just so you know in the future! :) Smoddy (Rabbit and pork) 21:47, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Acumen

Thanks for the clarification on the Acumen articles. I did not know that re-releases should not be re-listed. I was actually wondering how exactly to circumvent that problem. However, I'm wondering what to do in regards to the Robot Records release of Transmissions From Eville. It is significantly different from both the Fifth Column and Conscience versions. Any thoughts?

Sovex 08:23, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I'm afraid i can't find a large amount of information about the early version of Transmissions From Eville on the interweb. I can see that it does have a significantly different tracklist, though. Here's what i would do about it if i had all of the information about it (ie, tracklist, track times): change the infobox so that the runtime box also contains the runtime for the Robot Records release. Also, change the label to reflect that Robot Records originally released the record. Also, add a new subcategory to the tracklisting, for the RR release (like on What Do You Know, Deutschland?). Just change things to reflect the original release (but also to acknowledge later releases, which i would say are more notable). As an aside, the only information i can find on the Robot Records version is Here. Do you know how accurate that info is? If it is accurate, then i can edit in this info and work on making sure everything's formatted properly. R Calvete 19:13, 2005 Apr 29 (UTC)
Well, I actually have a copy of the Robot Records release. Unfortunately, I don't have it nearby, but I can say with about 90% certainty that the info on the link you supplied is correct. I say go ahead and make the change, and when I get a chance to look at my copy, I'll verify anything that might be missing. Sovex 20:17, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Featured article for December 25th

I noticed you have listed yourself in Category:Atheist Wikipedians. That said, you will probably be interested in my suggested featured article for December 25th: Omnipotence paradox. The other suggestion being supported by others for that date is Christmas, although Raul654 has historically been against featuring articles on the same day as their anniversary/holiday. — BRIAN0918 • 2005-11-28 08:07

[edit] Chocolate crackles

I have rewritten the article so it is a stub about the food, very popular at Australian kids parties, rather than a recipe. I would be grateful if you could take a look. Capitalistroadster 19:08, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
