R. Putnam Coes

R. Putnam Coes is Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley Hedge Fund Partners, LP, which is a multi-manager hedge fund vehicle formed by Coes. He is also an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley Investments, LP.

From 2000 to 2003, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners, a business of which he was co-founder. Mr. Coes was also Manager of Global Strategy for Morgan Stanley Investment Management from 1998 to 2000.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Coes was a management consultant with Marakon Associates from 1995 to 1998.

Coes earned his B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College and his MBA from the Yale School of Management.
