R. Paul Wilson

R. Paul Wilson is a world renowned, award winning conjuror and magic inventor. He now works in film and television.

He has been studying sleight of hand, cheating and conjuring since he was eight years old. After twelve years as a computer consultant, he became a professional performer and lecturer, using the time to study film before moving into the industry.

Paul's film credits include: Second Unit Director, Cheating Advisor and actor in "Shade" (2004). He directed and starred in the highly acclaimed opeing titles, which featured expert sleight of hand with cards. He later appears as "Mr. Andrews", a poker playing card cheat.

He also has a small role in Joe Carnahan's Smokin Aces, was magic advisor on the film and trained the lead actor to handle cards like an expert.

Paul has worked on projects with Sylvester Stallone, Stuart Townsend, Jamie Foxx, Gabriel Byrne, Thandie Newton, Bo Hopkins, Ben Affleck, Ryan Reynolds, Ray Liotta, Alicia Keys, Andy Garcia, Jason Bateman and Jeremy Piven.

He also produced A&E's hit show Mondo Magic , advised Criss Angel for his hit TV show, appeared on "Modern Marvels'" casino technology episodes and is the resident cheating expert on Italian TV's "Arcana" show.

He co-created, produced and starred in Court TV's "The Takedown", a twelve episode series where Paul was challenged to beat Casino security systems.

He went on to write and present "The Real Hustle" for the BBC. The show is now a hit in the UK and the third season is currently airing. A US version has been commissioned by Court TV.

As a magician his credits include: "The Royal Road To Card Magic" DVD series, "Hit The Road with Paul Wilson and Lee Asher", "Knock 'Em Dead", "Twists Of Fate", "The Restaurant Act", and "The Unreal Work with Paul Wilson and Jason England".

He has published several articles in Magic Magazine and Genii Magazine. His books include Chaos Theories, The Little Black Book, Obscure Acts, Omerta, Crash Course In Brain Surgery, The Inslow Effect, 13, Miracle Card In Beer Bottle, The Finnish Line and over a dozen online manuscripts.

He is the creator of "Ricochet: The Ultimate Reset", "Spectrum", "The Predator", "The All Seeing Eye", "Miser's Dream Cocktail Shaker", "The Porper/Wilson Cylinder And Coins Set" "The Terminator Wallet" and the upcoming "ConCam Monte". He is also the inventor of the utility device commonly known as "3CM" or "Triple Threat".

Paul lives and works between London, Los Angeles and his home in Scotland. He is represented by David Boxerbaum at the APA Agency in Hollywood, CA.
