Rioverde is a city with a small town feel. While strolling on any given evening you will find housewives sitting outside their front doors while the little ones play around them, and young lovers staring into each others eyes while watchful fathers peer out the windows. It is in every sense a family place.
The Media Luna, or Half Moon is an old volcanic crater, filled with crystalline waters, and is a well known place for scuba divers who go there to practise in its warm waters.
