Ah, just noticed this. I can say, as the one that put up te most recent tag, that I had no idea you were objecting. I would not have minded if you had removed the tag for discussion. In any case, in the future Wikipedia:Votes for Undeletion is the proper route for this, I believe. By the way, good job on the article, I don't want to discourage you! As it stands, if you copied some this current article from the old one, you might as well talk to some admins to get the page history before your recreation restored.
