Quit Playing Games was released in 1997. The Backstreet Boys released it in the wake of teen pop/bubblegum pop in the music market. It proved to be a huge hit peaking at the top in Canada,Germany,Singapore and many other countries. Reaching number 2 in the UK and US. It proved to be the bands biggest hit until future hit release I Want It That Way.

The Backstreet Boys are singing in a dark backstreet about being cheated on. The songs final verse ends with them dancing in the rain. The video was a huge hit in TRL peaking and retiring at number 1.
