Quintus Fabius Maximus Eburnus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quintus Fabius Maximus Eburnus was a Roman statesman of the patrician gens Fabia.

Eburnus served as praetor urbanus in 118 BC and was elected consul for 116 BC. Eburnus was notorious for as pater familias having condemned to death one of his sons for "immorality". For this he was reviled and, accused by Gnaeus Pompeius Strabo for having exceeded the limits of patria potestas, he went into exile in Nuceria.
