Quintuplets was a sitcom that aired twenty-two episodes on the Fox network from June 16, 2004 through January 12, 2005. The program starred Andy Richter and Rebecca Creskoff as parents of a family of quintuplets and their various adventures in parenthood.

The story is set in Nutley, New Jersey, and is on the face of it a typical family sitcom. Much of the storyline focuses on the difficulty of supporting a large family of teens, both financially and emotionally, as they grapple with the reality that, grown up, they simply aren't as cute and interesting as they were when they were born.

The house is a typical three-bedroom family home. The male quints share a room with bunk beds, the female quints share another room. The kitchen contains a double wide beer cooler as a refrigerator, and the basement contains a walk-in freezer, both to store the large amounts of food such a large family requires. The situation may be seen to parallel and parody the old sitcom The Brady Bunch, by highlighting the impracticality of the large family.

The theme song, "Suk or Shine," was performed by Chris and Tad.

Bob Chase (played by Andy Richter) - the father, he works for an ad agency, and barely makes enough money to support the large family. Most of his time is spent trying to save money, and only occasionally provide parenting for his five teen children. Bob is deadly allergic to lobsters.
Carol Chase (played by Rebecca Creskoff) - the mother. Maintaining the large family and house requires her to be a typical sitcom housewife. She often appears tired and haggard, but provides most of the parenting for the quints, and serves as the voice of reason when Bob gets too heavy handed.
Parker Chase (played by Jake McDorman) - the popular boy. Tallest of the children, good-looking, successful in academics, sports, and attracting girls. He tends to speak for all the quintuplets when they need to present a united front to their parents. Parker took ballet classes when he was younger, but he gave up when he was twelve. He is also allergic to cats and ragweed. Compared with the other brothers, Parker is the most normal, because according to Patton, he's taken all the good genes in the womb, making Patton short and Pearce weird. Parker's dreamjob is to work at a burger barn, only because he wants to meet girls, but when he finally gets it he also ends up getting a zit, and decides to give up on that dream.
Pearce Chase (played by Johnny K. Lewis) - has curly hair, and is the weirdest member of the family. He has a strange perspective on just about any subject, and is never afraid to share his bizarre thoughts with everyone. A compassionate person, he has a Mongolian pen pal, and adopts most of the animals from the pet store he works in. He is prone to unexpected flashes of brilliance when needed. Pearce hates killing turkeys, the most noble fowl in America. He has a very special gift when it comes to understanding and communicating with animals and is also a wonderful swing dancer.
Penny Chase (played by April Matson) - is intellectual, and vigorously nonconformant. She dresses and styles her hair in the typical goth style and enjoys reading. She acts as a foil for Paige and the other members of her family, often in surprising ways. Penny is smart and pretty, but has loads of anger issues.
Paige Chase (played by Sarah Wright) - the attractive girl, she spends most of her time thinking about and attending to her appearance. Her hair is frosted blonde, and she conforms to the typical sitcom dumb blond stereotype - she tends to miss the point of jokes, thinks only of her herself, and yet, like Pearce, is prone to flashes of brilliant insight as humor demands. Paige may be selfish, but she has a soft heart that helps her make the right decisions, even if it gets her into trouble sometimes. Paige loves carolling in Christmas Festivals.
Patton Chase (played Ryan Pinkston) - the shortest of the children at 4'10". He takes growth hormones, the result of which is ripe with comedic opportunity. He's the most sex-obsessed of the quints; whenever a woman remarks about him positively in any way, he utters his catch phrase — "Yes, I am. You likey?" in a sensual tone. He is arguably the craftiest of the quints, often with a hidden plan. In the last episode, Patton joins the wrestling club - the only thing of his interests that doesn't involve girls.

Alayna Collins (Alice Greczyn) - Pearce's girlfriend, she is beautiful and intelligent. She moved to Africa five years ago, and when she came back, Parker and Pearce found out that they both had feelings for her and vice versa and started fighting to win her heart until Parker decided to walk away. But he stepped out too late, as she found herself a cute boyfriend in the next second. However, that didn't last long and when Pearce revealed his true feelings to her (through the TV), his words were so touching that she actually fell in love with him.
Tyler (Adam Grimes) - Paige's weird boyfriend. Not much is known about him, only that he's incredibly stupid.
Steve Chase (Jason Priestley) - Bob's little brother, a sports agent and a charmer to the ladies. It seems that Patton has somehow inherited the charming and crafty genes from him. Because he got his brother stoned before his wedding vows, Carol never liked him until he helped making Carol's old college friend, Lisa Applebee (Elaine Hendrix), feel the emptiness of her life (only because he wants to charm her).
Matt (Robert Hoffman) - Matt is a gay swing dancer. He was supposed to be Penny's date on Homecoming Prom, but once he found out that Pearce swing dances just as well, he asked him to be his date instead, which Pearce accepted, and left Penny suffering.
On November 24, 2004 American swimmer Amanda Beard appeared as herself.
Roger (Richard Keith) - Penny's boyfriend. He enjoys kissing Penny only because she reminds him of all the dead female poets; such as Emily Dickinson or Sylvia Plath.
The Helberg family - the Chase family's archenemies (like Romeo and Juliet's families). The family members are Francis (Dan Butler) - the father and the blond quints Bucky (Tyler Jenson), Stradivarious (Michael Nardelli), Kelly (Odette Yustman), Tiffany (Ashley Hartman) and Chad Helberg (Brendan Miller). They stole the Chases' commercial business and made them stop doing commercials. When they were competing to get a free car, Penny seduced Chad and turned him against his own family.

Episode 1: Pilot
Bob and Carol, and their five kids; Patton, Pearce, Paige, Parker and Penny. When Bob takes Carol to see Bruce Springsteen in concert, the kids throw a party to boost their images at school. At the party, Parker worries that his less popular siblings will embarrass him in front of a hot girl. Patton's attempt to woo a girl ends in disaster, while Penny meets her soul mate.

Episode 2: Quintagious
When Penny falls ill with the flu, the others force her to the basement to save themselves. It doesn't work though, and one by one they all fall ill, messing up all of their plans. Bob and Pearce are the last two standing and take some time to bond. Penny and Paige also bond over an unlikely activity. Pearce makes a fashion statement in his pajamas, and creates a new language- "mathlish".
History facts: The family had the same flu in 1996, because Bob triple-dared Patton to lick a dead squirrel.

Episode 3: Little Man on Campus
When Patton fails to make the basketball team at school, he joins the cheerleading squad to score, with cheerleader Haley in particular. Patton runs into difficulty following through with the cheer routines however, when he gets overly aroused in public. After Paige fails to make the cheerleading squad, Penny gives her a lesson in thickening her skin. Bob is obsessed about wanting Parker and Patton to win scholarships.

Episode 4: Lord of the Cell
Bob wins a cellphone, and then, realizing how much the kids want the phone, creates a little competition for all of them. Whoever does the most chores, wins the phone. Unfortunately, the plan backfires, when the Quints join together, and go on a strike.
History facts: Pearce has a Mongolian pen pal named Yabba.

Episode 5: (Disdainfully) The Helbergs
The Chases compete to be the stars of a commercial for a minivan, which they will get to keep if they win. They are up against the Helbergs, their ultimate quint family rivals. However, before the contest, Parker refuses to join the commercial and Paige's boyfriend, Tyler, ends up taking Parker's place, which gets things out of hand in the end. Meanwhile, Pearce is having hard time letting go of the old car that he calls the "Q-Mobie".
History facts: Pearce has always thought of their old car as part of their family. The Chase family stopped doing commercials because the Helberg family stole all of their business. When the family was still in commercial business, they got the first car for free for doing a car commercial. Tyler has had dinner at Paige's house ten times.

Episode 6: Get a Job
The Quints get jobs! Paige and Patton wind up selling shoes, but their different ways of working retail conflict. Pearce gets a job at the pet store, but he buys most of the pets himself. Parker works at the food court, but ends up hating the job, when he gets a monstrous zit on his nose. Meanwhile, Bob recklessly spends the money that he and Carol were supposed to use for a gift for both of them to buy a motorcycle and a sidecar. And Penny gets a job which is - not telling her mother about the motorcycle her father bought.

Episode 7: Swing, Swing, Swing
When Pearce takes Penny's date away she's horrified and mad. Paige decides she wants to be homecoming queen but Bob's lack of money and support ends up making her look like a freak. Meanwhile, Patton can't get a date so he lies to a porn star to get her to be his date. And Parker is bullied into taking the toughest girl in school while he still has a date with the girl he likes. In the end, Parker and his date become second place for homecoming king and queen, right behind Pearce and Matt. Penny and her head doll - "Dead Pearce" - become second place for zombie king and queen, right behind Paige and Tyler. Patton becomes a legend of his school for going to the prom with a porn star. And Bob and Carol sneak into the homecoming so Carol can have her dream come true.
History facts: Back in 20 years ago, Carol sat home eating cookie dough in her homecoming prom dress because Bob went to Atlantic City with his friends and got drunk and stood her up: Carol has been angry at him ever since. Last year, Patton unknowingly got a raincoat and yellow hat from an oversized stuffed bear.

Episode 8: Shakespeare in Lust
When Penny is chosen to direct "Romeo & Juliet" in the school play, all the quints sign up to help out. Patton lands the role of Romeo and has to kiss Parker's girlfriend, which makes Parker so jealous that he almost destroys the play, Paige becomes the prop master, and Pearce hijacks Penny's play. Meanwhile, Bob and Carol wangle an invitation to dinner at their neighbors' house.

Episode 9: The Sixth Quint
The beautiful Alayna Collins has just gotten back from a five-year long trip to Africa, a fantastic surprise for the quints. Paige throws a slumber party to introduce Alayna to the jungle of High School, while Bob and Carol spend a wild night at the Nutley Motor Inn. On the boys' side of the house, Patton spies on the slumber then gets an interesting predicament. Then, Parker wants Pearce's help in becoming more than friends with Alayna. Pearce talks to Alayna but, a huge misunderstanding may make Pearce question his loyalty to his brother. Penny has boyfriend crisis and gets help from her sister and her friends.

Episode 10: Love, Lies and Lullabies
The science projects are here! Pearce and Parker use the project as a last-ditch effort to find out who Alayna likes better. Elsewhere, Patton finally gets a girl, the hottest girl in the school. Unfortunately, when Patton learns of her fetish he gets too disturbed to even kiss her. And Penny uses Paige as a project by manipulating her into doing an incredibly complex task, to finish her own project. Meanwhile, Carol, feeling that she hasn't done anything really charitable, decides to help the elderly, but her charity marks the end of the road for some.

Episode 11: Quint Con
The Chase Family attend the multiples convention. Patton pretends to be a twin to get under a girl's shirt... again. Penny and Paige woo two identical twins. Also, the parents take another Quintuplet family as their protégés.

Episode 12: Battle of the Bands
It's the school's Battle of the Bands! Paige asks Patton to help the other girls in her dance routine but, as it turns out, Paige is the one who needs help. Bob, feeling left out after missing his Battle of the Bands due to having premarital sex, worms his way into Parker's band. Parker gets royally pissed and walks out. Meanwhile, Pearce uses an unusual instrument for his one-man band.
History facts: The Chase family has a curse; which is the attraction to a musician.

Episode 13: Working It
Bob has to close a deal with a big executive wishing to buy. Bob, trying to be as likable to the man as possible, tries to pass off Patton as a ten-year old since, the buyer has a ten-year old. Patton realizes that the undercover job might not be that bad when he gets a peak at the kid's babysitter. Parker and Pearce once again fight about Alayna, while Penny tries to sabotage Paige's tips.
History facts: Pearce speaks gibberish when he's nervous and scratches himself when he hears scratching sounds. Pearce made up the story about going on three dates with Julie. Pearce got Megan Gilroy's name of a tomb stone and used it as his other dating story. Patton was a mountain scout.

Episode 14: Boobs on the Run
When the boys decide that they're going to a frat party, they meet an idiot known as Luskin. After infiltrating Luskin's life by joining him on the ice run, Luskin quickly takes the trip to new heights, much to Parker's dismay. Meanwhile, Carol has put-up with the girls' lies and decides she wants to hear every lie they've ever told her while Bob escapes from his own family with his own.
History Facts: Paige and Penny have lots of secrets that Carol can't bear to listen. Bob has had a secret room under the backyard for 13 years. Parker learned ballet when he was younger, but he gave it up when he was 12. Patton made up a lie he's has been waiting to use since he was 9; and that's lying to Pearce about going out on a camping trip so he can tell their mom and allow them to walk out of the door without their mother's suspicions.

Episode 15: Teacher's Pet
Patton wants the attention of Ms. Foley, his English teacher, so, he pretends to be bad at English even though, it's his best subject. Unfortunately, Parker's basketball coach also wants the attention of Ms. Foley, he takes it out on the basketball team. The teacher's fiascoes' continue when Paige converts Penny's favourite teacher from dull to ditz. Meanwhile, Pearce helps Bob write Pearce's English essay.
History facts:Bob went to College University.

Episode 16: Thanksgiving Day Charade
It's Thanksgiving and Bob Chase's womanizing brother and Carol's overachieving friend come to visit. Siblings clash when Carol competes with her friend. While Bob's brother tries to seal a deal with Amanda Beard, a woman inadvertently swallows Bob's wedding ring. At the same moment, Patton tries to woo a French girl and Penny tries to cook the turkey, but Pearce's animal-right mumbo-job gets in the way.
History facts: Bob's little brother, Steve, got Bob stoned before their wedding. Carol's old roommate, Lisa, started her own carrier in London. It seems Patton has learnt his ways of charming girls from his uncle Steve, and Parker has learnt a few as well.

Episode 17: Date Night
When Bob and Carol crash Parker's date, Carol becomes best friends with Parker's girlfriend, which makes Parker very uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Penny convinces Paige that she's dating a guy because of his money and Patton and Pearce double-date with a girl and her dog.
History facts: Pearce has been saving up a little soya sauce, waiting to use it on girls, for some weird reason, but he gives it to Patton instead.

Episode 18: Bob and Carol Save Christmas
Christmas is disturbed in the Chase household when the quints decide they want to break the tradition and get real Christmas gifts - not pictures of what they would like to get. Carol and Bob go to Atlantic City, hoping to win big so that they can return home with lots of presents. Meanwhile, Patton and Parker both cast in a live nativity scene, vie for Mary's affection, Penny's plan of getting kicked out of the caroling group affects Paige and she tries to make up for it, and Pearce becomes an elf but ends up breaking Santa's back and almost ruining Christmas.
History facts: When Pearce was six years old, he bit Santa Claus on his leg because he thought Santa Claus was made out of licorice. The Chase family's Christmas tradition is giving pictures of stuff that they want on Christmas Eve and give real Christmas presents on 27th under the name "Quintsmas".

Episode 19: Where Are They Now?
Chaos ensues when a camera crew invades the Chase household for a television special and on-air anchor Heather Daniels must find out who and if the Chases have changed since her last visit. Meanwhile, Pearce decides to finally tell Alayna how he feels about her.
History facts: Carol and Bob took Parker, Pearce, Paige and Patton to Disneyworld, and left Penny behind with grandma because she wanted to share a special weekend with only Penny. Carol used to have a publishing carrier before she gave birth to the Quints. The family were interviewed by the same TV-house when the kids were babies.

Episode 20: Shall We Fight
When Matt offers to give Carol and Bob dance lessons, Carol is overjoyed but Bob doesn't seem quite as joyful. But as always Carol convinces Bob... or threatens him. Meanwhile, Patton has a date with Julie and Penny has her own date but when they run into each other Penny and Patton's dates suggest they double-date... which turns out to become more a miserable time for Patton and Penny and a "flirtatious" time for their dates. Pearce is outraged when he finds out that Alayna has agreed to going for a mani-pedi with Paige instead of going out with him. He finds it hard to cope without Alayna and begins to stalk her. Meanwhile, Carol and Bob are taking their dance lesson when Carol hurts her ankle. After Bob is forced to take the dance lessons alone, Matt tells him that Bob isn't exactly "a pleasure to teach". Bob then gets a new instructor, a woman named Sophia. When Bob tries to go to his next dance lesson, Carol quickly figures out that he has now a female instructor and accuses him of feeling guilty. When Carol heads down to where the dance lessons are being held she meets Sophia and realizes why her husband liked her so much. She also finds out that Bob didn't go to his lesson. Meanwhile, Pearce convinces Parker to make sure he doesn't go anywhere which disables him from going after Alayna which makes him look like a "psycho stalker boyfriend". In the end however, Alayna comes to him. Patton and Penny however end up having their hearts broken; Penny's boyfriend breaks up with her because of her intelligence and Patton's girlfriend breaks up with him because of his self-confidence. Meanwhile, Carol admit to Bob that she understood how he felt.

Episode 21: Chutes and Letters
Carol's mean great aunt Sylvia visits and dies falling down a garbage chute, and she soon worries Bob has replaced her Aunt in unpopularity with the quints. Meanwhile, Parker and Patton persuade Pearce to take his relationship with Alayna to the second level, while Patton meets the love of his life when he decides to scam the nerds at school but he ends up getting scammed himself.
History facts: Once a month, Carol, Penny and Paige go to visit their mean Grandaunt Sylvia: this time Carol asks Bob to go instead. "Sorry, dollface, I work alone", "After this score, babe, we can move to Bahamas and get that boat we've always dreamt of" and "I don't think I'm ever gonna be able to love another girl again", these are the phrases that Patton has always wanted to say. About one week ago, Pearce stuck beans up in his nose and had to be taken to the emergency room.

Episode 22: The Coconut Kapow
Patton joins the wrestling team and is happy to have found a hobby that does not involve girls, until he has to wrestle one. Paige is forced to clean out her closet, because her closet won't fit for any more clothes and Pearce offers to help and accidentally gives away the wrong clothes. Meanwhile Penny and Parker take the car out for a little joyride and get busted by a traffic camera.
History facts: Pearce has recently started keeping an album.
