Quickfit is a system (and manufacturer) of laboratory equipment, which as its name suggests fits together quickly, easily, and interchangeably. This is achieved by the manufacture of cones and joints of standardized lengths and tapers to high precision, obviating the need to mate joints individually. With this system in place, even older techniques such as rubber or cork bungs and stoppers drilled for glass tubes are no longer in use as well.

These high-precision joints have frosted (ground glass) glass surfaces, which fit and lock together easily, forming a good airtight seal especially when a small amount of laboratory grease or Teflon tape is applied. Non-ground glass joints are also available for shock-sensitive reagents such as diazomethane.

These joints can also be held together with joint clips (more correctly Keck clips). These clips are usually color coded. For example, orange clips are for size 32, green clips are for size 24 , blue for size 19, and yellow for size 14 joints.
