Partition of Quebec was created on December 7 by User:DW Geoff, a user name which obviously puts me immediately in mind of the infamous User:DW (a/k/a Angelique, JillandJack, A. Lafontaine, etc.); I just caught it as an uncategorized stub a few minutes ago. It may be a topic that merits a suitably neutral encyclopedic treatment, but it'll certainly need monitoring and discussion as to the best way to handle it. Bearcat 01:33, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

CEGEPs: Should this category be named "Quebec CEGEPs" or "Quebec cegeps"? Circeus 18:57, Apr 19, 2005 (UTC)
- I would say "Quebec CEGEPs", "CEGEPs of Quebec" or "CEGEPs in Quebec"... We'd have to check similar categories to choose which one would be most "standard-like". I agree that "CEGEP" should be plural. I think it should be uppercase; this is the usual convention, from what I know, in the press (it is an acronymn afterall). I wonder if an acute accent should be upon the first "E", however. --Liberlogos 19:18, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
  - AFAIK, CEGEP has not been lexicalized in English as it has in French ("cégep"), so it should be considered an acronym. The OQLF's GDT lists the English term as "CEGEP", with no accent. --Fbriere 11:01, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)
