[edit] CV at Letter from Birmingham Jail

Hi Queerudite,

I removed the large excerpts you added to Letter from Birmingham Jail. Apparently King didn't release his work into the public domain.

[edit] Judicial Review

Hello. Looks like you've got the wrong person concerning the judicial review article. RJII 02:26, 6 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Dubious categorization

In what sense is Image:Burning of Sodomites.jpg "gay art"? That seems to me like calling a picture of a lynching "African American art". -- Jmabel | Talk 06:50, Feb 7, 2005 (UTC)

Actually lynching is not an uncommon theme in African American art (see here). Likewise, depictions of gays being persecuted is not an uncommon theme in gay art -- for instance, not long ago the National Holocaust Museum showed an exhibit featuring artwork from gay holocaust survivors. Of course, you're more than welcome to remove the drawing from the category if you feel strongly or to edit the definition I supplied for gay art in Category:Gay art -- this is, after all, a fairly nebulous category. Take care. -- Queerudite 12:53, 7 Feb 2005 (UTC)
