Queimada (Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Quemada, São Vicente Crioulo: Quemada or Queimada) is village in the northwestcentral part of the island of São Nicolau. It is part of the municipality of Ribeira Brava.

Queimada features farmlands in the valley areas and rarely in its slopes. The mountains covers the area and are mainly grasslands with a few trees.

Most of the houses are built with mud-brick and stone, the rest are concrete or sand with stone and some houses are built with brick and steel reinforced concrete. The area is in the island's low class. A part of the needy materials comes from the island capital, the island capital and the diaspora. But for other needs, electricity, communications, appliances and street lights are partially available in the area as well as phone lines since the late-20th century. A part of the necessities also comes from the island capital.
