Qubyte

A qubyte is a collection of eight entangled qubits.
It was first demonstrated by a team at the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at the University of Innsbruck in Austria [1][2] in December 2005. This development is one of many recent ones in the field of quantum computing.
