Thank you for your offer! The portal can certainly use all the help we can muster. If you'd like to help improve it, there are a couple of things I've not yet gotten around to doing: First, while creating the portal, I found out that there are no WikiProjects concerning Brazil; I've been meaning to get one started, but have not had the time yet. I even have a place holder template, just waiting for us to get one project going and then link it to the portal. The layout was inspired in the Australian portal, so you can check it out for inspiration if needed. Second, we are trying to get at least one article on Brazil featured, for the "Featured article" section. Amazingly enough, there are no articles on Brazil in that category, except for Portuguese language, but that's only partly about Brazil, since it is an article about the language and all the countries that speak it. Since you mentioned automated task, let me ask you: is there any way that we could keep up with the number of articles about or that mention Brazil in Wikipedia? That would be an interesting data to display in the portal, but I have no idea if that's possible or how to do it... Finally, you may also consider joining the "Members" or the "Maintainers" section of the portal info. Regards, Redux 29 June 2005 13:44 (UTC)
