Suggestions on how to improve this article would be greatly appreciated. Links, points of style, etc. are all open for discussion. It's my first article here. Thank you. Trane Francks 22:03, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi Trane, I am editing this article as I type this. So far mainly minor edits. I may add more to the page later but honestly you have done a great job with this article. Being familiar with QT, when I read it, I don't get any bad feelings that something seems out of place, so thats a good sign. The only thing I would recommend is being concise in your sentences. For example and this is my own example, instead of saying "practitioners who are certified.." you could just say "certified practitioners."
- Oh I think we should definitely add (i suppose in the background) about how simple the concepts are, as richard gordon says, the very complicated principles of "where is the pain" and "chasing the pain." the reason i say this is because after the principles list it mentions that it concerns itself with the chakras. playing with the chakras or colors are more specific techniques. in practice, basic quantum touch is less about the chakras and more about simply asking where the pain is and how it, interestingly enough, moves around and it is "chased" until it dissipates.
- we should find out how many practitioners and instructors there are too and mention that at the start of the page. it will reveal its popularity. So we can say... "As of March 19, 2007, there are 654 certified practitioners world wide and 500 of those are in the United State." i can email QT and ask them for these figures now.. - Thanks for the ideas, Anto. Feel free to add the "chase the pain" part where you think it fits best. Also, thanks for the point on being concise. I'll give it a bit of a massage. Speaking of massage, I added info re: CEUs for RNs and CMTs. Trane Francks 02:41, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sonja thanks for the editing and reference adding. I've been replacing sentences with no sources with purely sourced information, if available. The article looks much better than 2 days ago where it had only official QT sources. I'll get back to it later on.Antranik 17:28, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

- Phew! Ok Guys, I think I'm done. The core transformation section could use another 2nd party reference. I have yet to find anything not directly sourced from the QT main page that talks about CT. Do you know of anyone who's written a review of the class, that's not posted on a QT practitioner's site etc? Anto, since you're a practitioner, can you ask in the practitioners area of the forum if anyone has any ideas? Thanks! It's looking good eh? Angelbum aka Sonja
- Ashina, the Quantum Touch Practitioner Program Director replied to my request of asking how many practitioners there are so I can get an idea of how popular it is in use. She replied and here's the info as of March 24, 2007: "Altogether there are 1023 Practitioners world wide, of which 557 are in the US. There are 311 Instructors world wide and of those 178 are in the US." How can we incorporate this into the article? My source is her e-mail message so that's flimsy, how could we incorporate information like this?

- We might be able to add this information if it were independently verifiable, e.g., from the practitioner/instructor pages on the site. Still, for the moment, I think we should probably not include this information unless we can find similar claims from reliable second sources. Trane Francks 06:55, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

This is a first addition to the talk page subsequent to the Keep decision from the 2007-03-19 AfD. I'd like to note the following quote from the admin who closed the discussion:
- The present article still has problems with conflict of interest and so on, but if it is to be deleted it needs to be given another run at AfD.
While I don't see any COI issues, I freely accept that there is still work to be done on this article to make it the best it can be. There are still sections that have a decidedly unencyclopedic flavour. These need to be rewritten to be less story-like and more factual. There are missing citations, e.g., Rasmusson. Now that the pressure of the AfD deadline is off, let's take care of the loose ends. Trane Francks 06:55, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
