From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Quarry Bay School is an ESF primary school in Hong Kong. The school was opened in 1924 to educate the children of expatriate dockyard workers. It remained in Quarry Bay until the 1970s, briefly interrupted by World War II when it was forced to operate in the Stanley Internment Camp. In the 1970s it relocated to temporary premises in Victoria Barracks, and then in 1984 to its current location on Braemar Hill.
The principal now is currently Mrs Debra Gardiner. The last ex-principal was Mr David James Harrison. Mr DJ Harrison has been in Quarry Bay School for 23 years and now has retired. He now lives in Cardiff, United Kingdom.
It was expected that there were 720 students in Quarry Bay School now. Most of the students are chinese.
