QRNational

QRNational is a multi-million dollar expansion of QR's freight business, centering around the re-branding of QR's Coal and Freight Services Group.
Queensland Rail is spending $446 million to buy the rollingstock, depots and customer contracts of the Australian Railroad Group in New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.
Queensland Premier Peter Beattie said that QRNational will provide a freight service from Cairns, Queensland on the east coast, through to Perth, Western Australia on the west coast.
