The Qatar national football team is the national team of Qatar and is controlled by the Qatar Football Association. It has never made the World Cup, but its Under-20 team finished a surprising second at the World Youth Championship in 1981, losing in the finals to West Germany. Qatar won the gold medal of the 15th Asian Games Football tournament.qatar won gulf cup 17 which was held in qatar.it has won the gulf cup twice..
