Qardho

Qardho is a small, historic city in the central Puntland area of Somalia. It is the capital of Qardho District in the Bari Region. It is largely inhabited by the Osman Mahamoud sub-clan of Majeerteen, as well as the Arab Mohamud Salah, (a sub-clan of Meheri Arabs), Ali Saleebaan and Dashiisle sub-clans.
It is the home of the current President of Puntland.
