Qalansawe (Hebrew: קלנסווה) is a city in the Center District of Israel. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), at the end of 2004, the city had a total population of 16,400, making it the 2nd smallest city in the country.

According to CBS, in 2001 the ethnic makeup of the city was virtually all Arab Muslims without significant Jewish population. See Population groups in Israel. There were 7,700 males and 7,300 females. The population of the city was spread out with 53.2% 19 years of age or younger, 17.1% between 20 and 29, 17.9% between 30 and 44, 8.0% from 45 to 59, 1.6% from 60 to 64, and 2.2% 65 years of age or older. The population growth rate in 2001 was 3.5%.

According to CBS, as of 2000, in the city there were 2,230 salaried workers and 396 are self-employed. The mean monthly wage in 2000 for a salaried worker in the city is ILS 3,854, a real change of 4.0% over the course of 2000. Salaried males have a mean monthly wage of ILS 4,412 (a real change of 5.6%) versus ILS 2,162 for females (a real change of -12.4%). The mean income for the self-employed is 3,764. There are 141 people who receive unemployment benefits and 1,891 people who receive an income guarantee.

According to CBS, there are 7 schools and 3,792 students in the city. They are spread out as 4 elementary schools and 2,223 elementary school students, and 4 high schools and 1,569 high school students. 49.3% of 12th grade students were entitled to a matriculation certificate in 2001.
