Qaemshahr County

Shahi (Persian: شاهی) is a county in Mazandaran Province in Iran. The center of the county is Shahi. The name of the city has been selected in the name of Reza Shah who was born in the village of Alasht which is close to the city. The county has been renamed to Qaemshahr after the 1979 revolution. Qaemshahr is located in the junction of the two major transit roads of Haraz and Firouzkouh, which connect Mazandaran to the capital of Iran, Tehran, .

It is a big sity near sari. It was the motherland of Iranian Shah(Pahlavi). It called Shahi before Islamic reveloution, and had more prosper.
