Long-term Efficacy and Safety of Piracetam in the Treatment of Progressive Myoclonus Epilepsy (fulltext) says that while the myoclonus may have improved, there were hardly any improvements in seizure frequency. Piracetam relieves symptoms in progressive myoclonus epilepsy: a multicentre, randomised, double blind, crossover study comparing the efficacy and safety of three dosages of oral piracetam with placebo said the same thing.--Rmky87 22:47, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
