Pyramid Peak is a mountain in the Sierra Nevada mountain range within the subrange of the Crystal Mountains (California), to the west of Lake Tahoe. It is the highest point in the Desolation Wilderness in El Dorado County, California. A elevation gain of almost 4100ft makes the mountain's most popular route, Rocky Canyon, a very arduous climb.
